Although I work primarily in the field of psychotherapy, having a view of all the other fields of a healthy and balanced life is what distinguishes the full alternative practitioner from other healing professions.
In most cases, the alternative practitioner cannot bill health insurance companies directly. Only in special cases can I bill some private full or supplementary insurance companies.
The first meeting is about getting to know each other. After that, further trial sessions or a cooling-off period can be arranged. The relationship can of course be developed further, but a first personal impression is a real basis for deciding how to proceed.
It remains to mention those who may have learned a good education in a recognized or successful therapy method without an official framework. These can be social pedagogues, educators, kindergarten teachers, pastors, nurses, etc. These groups can usually not bill health insurance companies either.
